Salman Khan First Look From Ishq In Paris , Salman khan is playing a cameo role in this movie, this is a first look release recently
After Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan has once again proved that he is the most popular and bankable star of Bollywood today. Every actress wants to work with him. Now, the latest actress to join the list is Deepika Padukone, who is dying to romance Salman Khan on screen.
According to rumours, Deepika is desperate to work with superstar Salman. She is trying very hard to get Salman’s leading lady’s role in his next project Kick.
It was reported earlier that Sajid Nadiadwala, who will be directing Kick, was considering Sonakshi Sinha and Angela Johnson for Kick. But by seeing the Box-Office result of Sonakshi Sinha’s latest film Joker, the director is in two minds now. However, Bollywood insiders say that Deepika has an upper hand here because she got lots of praises for her role in Cocktail.
So, who would you think will look best opposite Salman Khan in Kick – Sonakshi Sinha, Angela Johnson or Deepika Padukone?
No one blinked an eyelid when ‘Ek Tha Tiger‘ scored in the excess of 32.92 Crores on the first day. It was pretty much on the cards and while the number seemed quite unbelievable, the hype and hoopla around the film meant that this number was pretty much on the cards.
On the same line of thought, it was again a foregone conclusion that the Salman Khan starrer would score fastest century ever with the 100 crore mark being reached in six, if not five days. Ek Tha Tiger made 23 Crores on it’s 1st Sunday at the domestic box office. The movie which had grossed a Day 1 box office collection of 32.92 Crores, Day 2 of 14.55 Crores, Day 3 of 12.80 Crores, and Day 4 of 16.78 Crores now stands at a nett total of 100.05 Crores. Now this is a huge achievement indeed, considering the fact that the record was held by ‘Bodyguard’ (again a Salman Khan starrer) which needed nine days to reach this mark.

Such huge moolah coming in the quickest possible time (till date at the least) also shows that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, despite mixed response, hasn’t been shown the back by those who had already made up their mind to watch the film. They may or may not be totally bowled over by the latest offering from Salman but the fact remains that there is a substantial population watching the film. Moreover due to Eid, the collections are only going to be further stable for a couple of days at the least, hence making this Kabir Khan directed film coming quite close to ‘Dabangg‘ collections of 140 crores.
The question which is being frequently asked is – ‘Will ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ turn out to be not just Salman’s biggest grosser till date but also turn out to be highest grosser of all times, hence eclipsing Aamir Khan’s 202 record for ‘3 Idiots‘?’. Well, there is no rocket science in saying that the film would easily eclipse ‘Bodyguard‘ record of 148 crore, hence turning out to be Salman’s biggest grosser ever. However as for Aamir’s record, it seems secure as of now. Still, commercially speaking, this is still a huge win for Yash Raj Films which would now be sitting pretty on a 175+ cr product.

Salman Khan does it again! After giving back-to-back super hits “Wanted”, “Dabangg”, “Ready” and “Bodyguard”, he has hit the bull’s eye once again with “Ek Tha Tiger” which has broken records of opening day collection by earning Rs.33 crore.
The romantic thriller released on Independence Day and trade pundits are expecting the collections to increase during the long weekend, thanks to Eid, which is Monday, and make more new records.
The film’s cost is said to be above Rs.50 crore and “Ek Tha…” marks director Kabir Khan’s third collaboration with Yash Raj Films after “Kabul Express” in 2006 and “New York” in 2009. Rajesh Thadani, Multimedia Combines, Mumbai, says the film has received the highest opening ever.
Salman’s movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is doing very well all over. It has been the highest opening ever. In first two days, the film has collected around Rs.47 crore all over India. On the opening day, the film collected Rs.33 crore. It is the highest collection till date for any Indian film,” Thadani said.
In Mumbai the film collected close to around Rs.17 crore on opening day. There is possibility that the film will break all records and collect Rs.200 crore,” he added.Vinay Choksey of VIP Exhibitors, Mumbai, seconds Thadani and said: “The film is expected to maintain the craze and the collections will go up during weekend.
The film that revolves around an Indian secret agent named Tiger collected almost Rs.17 crore on the second day.Anant Verma, director and business head of DT Cinemas, says “‘Ek Tha Tiger’ opened with 98 percent occupancy”.
The movie is doing excellent business. There was a lot of hype about it because of which we have had 45 percent online and advance bookings,” Verma said.”From families to couples, college students to working class came to watchthe movie and they are liking it. We are waiting for the weekend and expecting increased footfalls,” he added.
Salman, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer, romances Katrina (Zoya), an Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent in the film.
“Ek Tha…” shows the tumultuous journey of the dark world of intelligence that forbids its soldiers from falling in love.
The story is by Aditya Chopra and the film’s screenplay has been co-written by Kabir Khan and well-known journalist-turned-lyricist-writer Neelesh Misra.

Salman Khan’s much-hyped film Ek Tha Tiger has got an overwhelming response at the Indian Box Office on the first day of its release. As per the early trends, the romantic action thriller has raked in approximately Rs 30+ crores nett at the collections centres across the country. With this, it has shattered all previous records including that of Agneepath. The movie has turned out to be the all time biggest opener in Bollywood.
As per the reports received to bharatone.com The huge hype around the movie Ek Tha Tiger and the Salmania had created lot of curiosity among the film goers. The theatres screening the film were overflowing with movie buffs within and outside on the opening day. In many theatres, the police were called in to control the mob, which left many crazy fans of Salman, who did not get a chance to see his film on the first day.
Ek Tha Tiger opened to an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie, which was released on nearly 2500 screens on August 15, registered 100% occupancy in both Single screens and multiplexes across the country on the first day. It has garnered unheard of and unimaginable figures in all the circuits.
According to Taran Adarsh, Ek Tha Tiger has collected more than Rs 2 crores in Rajasthan alone and this collection is much bigger than that of Agneepath, which had scored Rs 1.30 crore in this circuite on the opening day. As per Taran Adarsh’s calculations, its first day business would definitely cross Rs 30 crores and it might possibly go near to Rs 35 crores.
Rating: 3/5 stars (Three stars)
What’s Good: The cinematography; some twists in the film; the music.Star Cast: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranvir Shorey and Girish Karnad.
What’s Bad: The plot seems stretched; unexplained loops.
Loo Break: Not really.
Watch or Not: Watch Ek Tha Tiger for Salman Khan at the top of his game and some exciting action scenes.
India is in safe hands with RAW spies like Tiger (Salman Khan) who chase, beat and gun down enemies of the state no matter which foreign country they are in. Forever on the move, Tiger’s latest assignment is to observe the movements of a certain Trinity College scientist in the UK. Accustomed to using his fists for getting information, our desi 007 finds it a bit difficult to get close to this aloof scientist.
But there’s the professor’s beautiful housekeeper Zoya (Katrina Kaif) who can help Tiger. In the guise of a writer, Tiger prances around with Zoya and ends up falling for her; just as his colleague Gopi (Ranvir Shorey) had warned him not to.
Story mein twist? Zoya is an ISI agent who is also assigned to keep a tab on the scientist. After a bit of running around the bush (and the globe), Zoya and Tiger decide to leave their government agencies and spend their lives together.
Considering that both of them work for their government’s secret intelligence agencies (and that too of India and Pakistan), this is not going to be a cakewalk. But can they even trust one another?

Script Analysis
Aditya Chopra’s story smartly mixes a spy thriller with a love story which is sort of exciting. Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra’s script has its share of flaws. The story of the scientist in the first half shows Tiger quite inept as a spy and isn’t even given a proper conclusion. Also, why RAW decides to help their rogue agent Tiger towards the end is up to the viewers to decide. The movie also seems a bit long with the duo on the run most of the time. Dialogues are good and keep a good dose of humour.
Also, you heave a sigh of relief to see a movie that talks about Pakistan and India and doesn’t indulge in jingoism or have a long patriotic tirade about Mera Desh.
Star Performances
Salman Khan is good as Tiger except that his expressions can seem a bit blank at times. Katrina Kaif is lovely as Zoya and smoothly carries off her bubbly and emotional scenes. Though Ranvir Shorey doesn’t have much screen time as Tiger’s comrade Gopi, he is wonderful in his role. Girish Karnad performs well as Tiger’s boss, Shenoy.
Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
Kabir Khan’s direction is well done though he does make Salman Khan’s Tiger more superhero than spy. Ek Tha Tiger might seem a bit long in between, but once the action starts, it gets on track. Julius Packiam’s background score is alright. Sohail Sen and Sajid-Wajid’s songs are good. Cinematography by Aseem Mishra is very nice. Rameshwar Bhagat’s editing is good. Visual effects are nice but they seem choppy in some sequences.
The Last Word
For those asking, yes, Salman Khan does take off his shirt. Salman fans won’t be disappointed by Ek Tha Tiger. For others, it’s a fun watch even though it’s a bit long.

Ek Tha Tiger
Opening Day Ek Tha Tiger Box Office Expectation: With the rule of the Titan, Ek Tha Tiger is expected to rake in all the moolahs with about 23-24 crores on its first day
This, Independence Day, Vengeance will get a new meaning to it as Salman Dabangg Khan returns on screen after a year long gap with YRF’s ‘Ek Tha tiger’. given his past records, Salman’s previous three films have gone on to create history in the world of film-making. The Ruler of the box office, he is the most bankable actor in the business today. Be it the brave action sequences or the silly antics, no one does it better than him. And we love him for that.
The film, Ek Tha tiger is high on brand value for all definite reasons. Firstly, Salman comes back with a bang and his huge loyal fan base is eagerly waiting to catch him on screens today. Secondly, the film marks the return of the one time beaus Salman-Katrina on screen, yet another time after the debacle of ‘Yuvraaj’. While industry insiders suggest love has started brewing yet another time between the two while filming, they have a different voice to it. Thirdly, it is a Yash Raj production, it is coming from the biggest brand in the country today and is headed by a director who is creatively insane with his craft, Kabir Khan! ETT is expected to be a no-nonsense flick, a diversion from the usual Salman films that we get to see these days. These three reasons coupled with the huge anticipation and mass hysteria is surely going to take the film a long way ahead in the running.
According to early Monday estimates, the film had a record breaking 80% advance booking occupancy sols and some multiplexes and single screens also showed a Housefull board for the film’s show timings. With million waiting in the queue for their ETT tickets, this film is expected to be a blockbuster. Early estimates suggest the film has opened to a mammoth response and is definitely going to sustain the track for the next few weeks to come. Thats Salman for you and Eid belongs to no other Khan better than him. Period.
The film ‘Ek Tha tiger’ is released in a a record breaking 3000 screens nationwide and 500 screens overseas, the highest for Salman in the overseas till day. With the pack and punch already created about the film, everyone’s looking forward to the film and it would not be a surprise if ETT goes on to shatter all box office records, including the recently set opening record of 25 crores by Hrithik’s Agneepath. Lets just wait and watch for it, till the final verdict is out for the day!
